- Fitting experience
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
- Good level of manual dexterity and hand / eye coordination
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as well as the ability to reach below, at and above shoulder height to repair and fabricate

- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing

- Graduate of Mechanical Technician / Technologist Program or equivalent
- Project Management Courses considered an asset
- Comprehensive understanding of engineering drawings, schematics and specifications as well as geometric tolerances and dimensions
- Detail oriented, accurate and efficient problem solving and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Solid Works, proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with designing jigs and fixtures
- Working knowledge of ERP / MRP systems
